After Acceptance

Advance Deposit
If you are accepted into the IEP and provide evidence of financial support, you are required to send a $500 USD Advance Deposit to Marywood. This deposit is non-refundable. 

Required Paperwork
When Marywood University receives the $500 USD advance deposit, the Office of University Admissions will send you a confirmation packet. Inside this packet will be a New Student Questionnaire, Student Health Services form and a Residence Hall Agreement form (if residing on campus). The Student Health Services form must be completed with the assistance of your health care provider and returned to Marywood University. The Residence Hall Agreement form and New Student Questionnaire must also be completed and sent to Marywood University. Please note that each student who resides on campus must select one Dining Plan and fill out the Housing & Dining Preference Form.

Vaccination Information
Pennsylvania State Legislature requires that all students residing in a residence hall in Pennsylvania be vaccinated for meningococcal meningitis. If you do not receive a vaccination prior to your arrival at Marywood University, you must report to Student Health Services and they will direct you to a site off campus where you can obtain a vaccination.

Student Visa Information
Marywood University will issue an I-20 to the student via Fed Ex delivery service. Once the I-20 is received, you must complete an I-901 form. This form can be obtained from Marywood University or online. This form must be completed in order to obtain your student visa. Do not send this form back to Marywood University. The I-901 must be sent to the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (U.S.I.C.E.) Office with a payment of $200 USD. Once you receive a SEVIS receipt from U.S.I.C.E. , also known as an I-797, you may go to the embassy to acquire your visa.

It is strongly suggested that during your interview, you bring:

• Your SEVIS receipt from U.S.I.C.E (I-797)
• Your passport, valid for at least 6 months
• A copy of your Certificate of Finances
• Money for the visa application
• Your I-20
• Official Bank Statements
• Your acceptance letter
