Applying for Admission: PsyD Clinical Psychology

The $35 application fee is waived when you submit the online application. Use this link to apply.

Note: On the application, there is an option for other program consideration.  If you would like to be considered for the Master's Psychology/General Theoretical program should you not qualify for admission into the post-Bachelor's program, please complete this section of the application.  Otherwise you will not be considered for the Master's option.

Transcripts
Submit OFFICIAL, SEALED transcripts of all your academic work including coursework done at Marywood.  When requesting transcripts, please ask the sending institution to indicate your current name and former/maiden name.

Test Scores
Submit scores from the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) General Test taken within the past five years. Please request that your scores be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service to Marywood. Our ETS school code is 2407.

Personal Statement
Submit a PERSONAL STATEMENT on the goals you hope to meet through participation in this PsyD program. (Not to exceed 500 words, double-spaced.)

Curriculum Vitae
Please submit a current copy of your curriculum vitae with your application for admission.

Reference Forms
For post-master's applicant's, please send three REFERENCE FORMS (at least two must be from full time faculty from the master's program where you completed your degree). For post-bachelor's applicants, please send three REFERENCE FORMS (at least two must be from psychologists). Reference forms are available from us and can also be submitted electronically via the online application.

All documents submitted in connection with the application become the property of the University.

Applying for Admission: PhD Strategic Leadership and Administrative Studies

Admission to the Ph.D. Program is based on an open-enrollment system. Marywood seeks students who exhibit superior academic achievement, sensitivity to research inquiry, and a potential for administrative leadership in their respective fields.

Reflective Essay
Submit a reflective essay of approximately 500 words addressing your professional goals and research interests and how they can be achieved in this program.

Reference Forms
Two letters of recommendation from course instructors or current supervisors addressing your qualifications for doctoral study.  Letters should be sent to Marywood University's Office of Graduate Admissions with an official signature across the sealed flap of the envelope. Reference forms can also be submitted electronically via the online application.
