About me: I joined the admissions staff in February 2017. I graduated from Temple University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. I am originally from Clifton Heights, PA, right outside of Philadelphia, where I grew up with my amazing family. In December of 2015, I moved to my husband’s hometown, Dallas, PA where I currently reside.
My interests: I love spending time with my family and friends, and of course, playing with my dog, Lady! My husband and I love to travel to new places and try new things. I also love to read, shop, do crafts and be outdoors! Nothing is better than fresh air and sunshine!
My favorite thing about Marywood: The overall atmosphere and the people! Marywood gives you a sense of family and comfort that makes you feel at home!
My favorite place on campus: I am not sure I can pick just one, especially with all of the breathtaking views, but I have narrowed it down to two – the Rotunda and the School of Architecture!
You'd never guess: I was a cheerleader for Philadelphia Soul, an arena football team! It is partially owned by Bon Jovi who I was fortunate enough to meet!
My best advice: College is a place where you will learn beyond the academics. It gives you opportunities you may have never thought possible from creating relationships in the classroom, connections in the work place, world travel and lasting friendships. You will figure out not only who you are, but who you once were and who you will be - so take chances! It if scares you a bit, it may be worth it!
