About me: I was born and raised in Scranton, PA and currently reside in Throop, PA. I graduated from Marywood University in 2017 and joined the admissions team in September 2020. Not only am I an admission’s counselor here at Marywood, but I am also the assistant coach for the Men’s Basketball team.
My interests: I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy traveling, watching movies, Yankees baseball, Steelers and Penn State football, Sixers and Syracuse basketball. I also love animals, especially cats and dogs!
My favorite thing about Marywood: My favorite thing about Marywood is how close-knit the environment on campus is. I love that all of our professors and faculty build a close connection with the students and have that 1-on-1 relationship.
My favorite place at Marywood: I would have to say my favorite place at Marywood is the Learning Commons. It is a good place to get a balance of quite study time, but also meet with friends to hang out and get something to eat.
You’d never guess: You’d never guess I’m a big Marvel fan. As much as I enjoy watching sports, I can watch any Marvel movie at any time of the day.
Best advice: Be yourself! Going to college may seem intimidating at first, but once you get on campus, it will start to feel like home. If you just be yourself, you will find plenty of opportunities around campus to meet new people and get involved with some great activities.
