Momentum: College Program for High School Students
This program is an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors to get a head start on college by enrolling in college level courses. Students can choose from a variety of courses (most often liberal arts courses) during the Fall, Spring, Summer I and Summer II semesters through high school graduation.
General Information/Requirements:
- Completed sophomore or junior year of high school
- Ranked in the top 50% of class
- Meet minimum grade point average requirements
- Eligible for a maximum of two courses per semester
- Awarded Marywood University credit; usually 3 credits per course
- Courses are offered at a reduced tuition rate

- Introduction to World Literature
- Global History of the Twentieth Century
- Introduction to Philosophy
- General Psychology
