While serving as Faculty at the Academy of Art Univ in San Francisco, my film production company is developing cooking shows, films, and other 21st century entertainment.
The Communication Arts department allowed me to understand and develop an aesthetic for my art and gave me a good foundation on technical skills that has served me well to this day. Moreover, the liberal arts based education at Marywood instilled a lifelong love of learning and exploration. My education was one where I felt we were gathering inspiration and expert knowledge from a host of mentors, applying many different fields of study to better our understanding of our own departments.
Throughout my career; in radio (locally WBHT, WARM, WMGS and later KFOG in San Francisco, theater (both in Northeast Pennsylvania and West Coast productions), cinema (my 6 years at Lucasfilm and in my own film endeavors), and education (my positions at the Academy of Art University), I have always felt the influence of Marywood.
I currently have two careers. My film production company is busy developing cooking shows, feature films, and a host of other 21st century entertainment. I also serve as Sound Design Curriculum Coordinator and Full Time Faculty at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
