The Marywood University Printmaking collection, begun in 1973 and continuing to present day under the supervision of Printmaking director Peter Hoffer, currently numbers over 1800 works on paper.
The approximately 600 works being initially displayed represent undergraduate and graduate classes that involve the major areas of relief, intaglio, lithographic, and screen processes as well as collograph, monoprint, and mixed-media applications.
Remaining works are now being added and the entire online collection will be completed soon. We are grateful to the many gifted and generous students who offered their works to this now sizable and impressive collection. These prints will now better serve current and future students as resource material as well as offering past students and public viewers the opportunity to enjoy the work.
