Admission Requirements
The following list outlines requirements for the MA/MFA programs in Studio Art, Visual Arts, and Art Therapy:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and extensive professional or teaching experience
- “B” average during undergraduate study or demonstrated potential for graduate work
- Completed application
- Essay
- Official, sealed transcripts
- Two or three letters of recommendation
- After submitting your application, you will be asked to submit a portfolio on CD/DVD or online

Special Program Requirements
MA in Art Therapy applicants must have satisfied the following undergraduate requirements:
18 studio credits which must include drawing, painting, sculpture
Master of Arts (MA)
Art Therapy (60-credits)
Studio Arts (36-credits):
- 3D track: Clay
- 3D track: Sculpture
- 2D track: Painting
- 2D track: Printmaking
- 2D track: Photography
Master of Fine Arts (MFA)
Graphic Design (60-credit low-residency program) *
Illustration (60-credit low-residency program) *
12 psych credits which must include general, abnormal, developmental
