Emily Zocchi, Sugarloaf, Pa., was recently named the executive assistant to the provost at Marywood University. In her role, Ms. Zocchi provides direct support to the provost and assistant provost, including facilitating faculty searches, coordinating the Graduate Assistantship Program, and record-keeping for Academic Affairs.
Prior to Marywood, Ms. Zocchi worked for more than twelve years at The Masters School, a private, co-educational boarding school and day college preparatory school located in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. At The Masters School, Ms. Zocchi taught Latin and Ancient Greek courses, and then served as the academic coordinator and registrar.
Prior to The Masters School, Ms. Zocchi taught Classics at the Trinity School, a highly selective independent, preparatory, co-educational day school for grades K-12, located in Manhattan, N.Y. She received her bachelor of arts degree in Classical Languages and Literature from New York University. Ms. Zocchi grew up in rural Maine. She has two daughters who are currently in college, and, in her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, cooking, and making art.
