I am so thankful for being accepted into this program and completing it in the 5 years. I think the best decision I've made was to go through the Marywood CSD program. Thank you for everything over these 5 years!!
Michelle Gianesses - Class of 2015
It really is mind blowing to look back on the growth I've experienced over the past 5 years. It is at times still intimidating to "take myself seriously" in lack of better words, but I am excited to always learn with each new experience & cannot wait to see what the future holds beginning the next chapter of my life.
Rachel Hoyt-Chiara - Class of 2012
Marywood's five-year program was the best choice for me because it was where I felt the most at home. I was greeted with nothing but warm smiles and welcoming faces, and nothing has changed since then.

I love my new job! I really feel that our program prepared me for the clinic I am in. I feel confident on a daily basis when working with the clients and interacting with the parents as well!

I’m so grateful for my Marywood education. I was so well prepared for both the school and hospital setting. I am fortunate enough to have a job I love in a field I love.

I would like to give a general thank you to you (Ms. Novak) and all the Marywood CSD staff and program for preparing me for this future career. I am beyond thankful for this amazing program, hard working and caring staff that shaped me into the therapist I am today. Today, I unexpectedly received a wonderful compliment from my CF supervisor, which made me realize how appreciative I am for the Marywood CSD program.
Erin Regan - Class of 2016; 2017
I wanted to take a moment to share my thanks with you and the entire Marywood CSD faculty and staff. You all pushed me beyond my limits, challenged me, educated me and most importantly helped me prove to myself that I could indeed follow my dream of becoming a Speech Language Pathologist. I will forever be grateful for the education I received through my time in the program. So…. thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I appreciate you all more than I could ever put into words.
Cara Maher - Class of 2019
Marywood’s five-year program was and is a great choice! My cohort (my peers in the major) are like my second family. Since freshman year, I have been with the same 25-30 students for all of my communication sciences and disorders department courses. The small class size is beneficial as it allows you to get to know your peers and the faculty gets to know everyone on an individual basis. Being able to observe in the on-campus clinic starting as a freshman gave me great insight, which I have carried with me as a current student clinician at Marywood.
Amanda Donaldson - Class of 2016; 2017
Just received your verification on my application for my CCC's. I know I was put on this earth to be an SLP and I am loving every second of being the real deal. Thank you for giving me the tools to be the young professional I am. Marywood, you, and the entire department have been so good to me, so thank you to you and all of the hard work you put into making us the best we can be
Gabriella Trezza - Class of 2017; 2019
I have experienced many benefits as a result of the five-year program. However, one of the greatest benefits is the strong sense of community. Because we aren't competing for limited spaces in graduate programs, the students in the program are encouraging and eager to help each other. The five-year program fosters a strong support system among its students.
Valerie Schmidt - Class of 2016; 2017
I want to personally thank each and every one of the professors at Marywood in the Speech and Language Program. Thank you for preparing me for what the “real world” is like. I appreciate the education that your program provided me. I am blessed!!!
Christina Nichols - M.S. 2006
My professors and my experience at the Marywood Speech, Language, and Hearing Clinic prepared me with the clinical skills and education to succeed in my graduate clinical internship. My internship hired me right out of graduate school and I have been working with the company since!
