Since graduating in 2014, I have been working at the high school level as a Bilingual Mathematics teacher, which means that I work with English Language Learners and teach them math while helping them to learn English. Having the ability to double major and study abroad during my four years at Marywood made me highly qualified to obtain this position. I was lucky enough to start this job right away, and even got accepted before graduation day! I love working with my Spanish-speaking students and watching them grow in their math and English abilities! While applying to jobs during my last year at Marywood, I was anxious to have to decide between Math and Spanish, and found the perfect mix to continue with both of my passions. I am very happy with the beginning of my career, and can't wait to see where it goes from here!
