Justice and Peace Studies Minor

Courses: (Requires 18 Credits)
Required courses are three in religious studies and one in history. These include a service course--either RST 339 or 338, RST 230 Political and Liberation Theologies, and one of these ethics courses--either RST 216 or RST 233. The required course in history is HIST 105. The remainder of the 18 credits may be taken from any of the courses listed below.
Because the ability to integrate interdisciplinary resources is essential to the purpose of the program, a capstone paper is required in whichever course is the final course that the student takes to meet the program requirements. This capstone requirement will be negotiated at the beginning of the course by the student to the satisfaction of the applicable professor.
