I love how positive everyone is at Marywood, from students to professors. There is such a positive vibe, such kindness and such caring from students and faculty. It's been just what I've needed.
As a mother of five children, full-time pediatric nurse, and returning to university at age 39, this scholarship has enabled me to achieve dreams I put on hold for decades. I am so grateful. This means so much for me and my children--it is demonstrating to my children that hard work pays off and that you're never too old to achieve your dreams. It sets an example to my children to obtain as much education as they can. My oldest son is a senior at North Pocono High School this year and he is considering Marywood. Our school is his top choice. My daughter, age 10, wants to come to Marywood for Nursing, too, when she's older. I hope that my five children come here--Marywood is like a second family. Thank you for helping make Marywood a part of my family.
