"My classmates in all of my classes motivate me to be the best version of myself, and we all help each other in any way that we can to reach our goals. The atmosphere and community that is fostered at Marywood is unlike no other, and I cannot imagine myself anywhere else. Marywood truly is my home. I am beyond thankful for all of the incredible opportunities I have had and people I have met while here.
I am deeply humbled that this scholarship affords me the chance to continue to live a life of service for God and others. If it were not for this award I most likely would not be able to return to the workforce in a line of work that I could physically handle as a disabled person. This scholarship creates such a sense of hope that I can move forward on this path and I look forward to giving back to the community as a result."
