Join the Art Department for an informative guest artist talk with Elijah Birtel of Electric City Tattoo in Scranton, PA. The artist will share about his personal path and talk about those intangibles that students don't typically think about when they're dreaming about their future careers. Subjects like self-care, money management, networking, and environmental stewardship, are all valid, real world considerations for a balanced career in the arts.

The Marywood University Art Department DISTINGUISHED VISITING ARTIST LECTURE SERIES presents a lecture by trans-disciplinary artist J. MORGAN PUETT on Wednesday October 20 at 4:00 pm. This special event will take place in Comerford Theater in the Science Center at Marywood, and will be followed by a reception in the Shields Visual Arts Center. The lecture and reception are free and open to the public.

The event takes place on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 4-5pm in the Sculpture Studio, Insalaco Center for Studio Arts.
