Each year the Marywood community gathers to ask God’s blessing on our academic year and to unite in prayer for the many needs of our community and the world. This unbroken tradition dates back to 1915 when Marywood’s first students and faculty assembled on September 8 for the Mass of the Holy Spirit. This welcoming Liturgy is followed by a festive Community Picnic.
