Cashier: Important Dates and Financial Facts

Spring Semester 2022

SPRING 2022 TERM	SPRING 2022 TERM
11/08/21	Spring bills are created. Please check MarywoodYou portal for invoice.
12/06/21	Spring term payment due date.
01/10/22	Spring term begins.
01/10/22	A $35.00 late fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.
01/18/22	Last day to register/add classes. Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees with the exception of classes starting earlier than the term start date and with the exception of the $80 registration fee.
01/19/22 to 01/25/22	01/19/22 - 80% Refund/Cancellation period begins. 01/25/22 - Last day to drop courses & receive 80% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Students owe 20% of charges.
01/26/22 to 02/01/22	01/26/22 - 65% Refund/Cancellation period begins. 02/01/22 - Last day to drop courses & receive 65% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Students owe 35% of charges. This excludes classes starting earlier than the term start date.
02/02/22 to 02/08/22	02/02/22 - 50% Refund/Cancellation period begins. 02/08/22 - Last day to drop courses & receive 50% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Students owe 50% of charges. This excludes classes starting earlier than the term start date.
02/15/22	Last day to waive out of the student Health Insurance via the “Student Services” link on the Marywood homepage, www.marywood.edu. Click on “Student Health Plan” to bring you to the Insurance site; then click on “Online Waiver” to complete the process.
02/09/22	Any courses dropped today receive no refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees. Students owe 100% of charges.
05/07/22	Spring term ends.

Summer Terms 2022

05/06/22	May term payment due date.
05/16/22	May term begins.
05/16/22	A $35.00 late fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.
05/17/22	Last day to register/add classes. Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees.
06/04/22	May term ends.

SUMMER I 2022 TERM	SUMMER I 2022 TERM
06/03/22	Summer I term payment due date.
06/06/22	Summer I term begins.
06/08/22	A $35.00 late fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.
06/08/22	Last day to register/add classes. Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees.
07/09/22	Summer I term ends.

SUMMER II 2022 TERM	SUMMER II 2022 TERM
07/01/22	Summer II term payment due date.
07/11/22	Summer II term begins.
07/13/22	A $35.00 late fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.
07/13/22	Last day to register/add classes. Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees.
08/13/22	Summer II term ends.

Fall Term 2022

08/05/22	Fall term payment due date is August 5 if not on a payment plan. Payment plan set up fee $40. Payment plan dates: August 5, September 5, October 5, and November 5
08/22/22	A $35.00 late fee will be charged on registrations received on or after this date.
08/22/22	Fall term begins.
08/30/22	Last day to register/add classes. Last day to drop courses & receive 100% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees with the exception of classes starting earlier than the term start date and with the exception of the $80 registration fee.
09/01/22	Last day to set up on-line monthly payment plan on the MarywoodYou portal.
08/31/22 to 09/06/22	80% Refund/Cancellation period begins. 09/06/22 - Last day to drop courses & receive 80% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Students owe 20% of charges.
09/07/22 to 09/13/22	65% Refund/Cancellation period begins. 09/13/22 - Last day to drop courses & receive 65% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Students owe 35% of charges. This excludes classes starting earlier than the term start date.
09/14/22 to 09/20/22	50% Refund/Cancellation period begins. 09/30/22 - Last day to drop courses & receive 50% refund/cancellation of tuition and course fees for students charged per credit or block tuition students who withdraw from all classes. Students owe 50% of charges. This excludes classes starting earlier than the term start date.

UNEARNED FINANCIAL AID: Financial aid received by students who withdraw may also be adjusted. In accordance with current federal regulations, those students who receive federal financial aid and who withdraw from the University during the first 60% of a semester will have their federal financial aid adjusted based on the percent of the semester completed prior to withdrawal. A detailed explanation of the federal policy and withdrawal/refund dates are available from the Cashier's Office. Non-attendance or non-payment does not constitute notification of withdrawal. Please consult the Registrar’s Office guidelines for notifications of withdrawals.
