Making Our Community Green
We're not satisfied with simply making our campus greener. We want to make our community sustainable, too.
Marywood's Sustainability Series is one way that we're promoting sustainable initiatives in our community. The first forum in the series, Marcellus Shale Opportunities & Challenges, offered a variety of perspectives on the implications of natural gas development in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Future forums will address other pressing issues important to our community.
And we are continually impressed by the contributions our alumni make to ensure a sustainable future for our communities. A few of their stories are highlighted here.
