I obtained my B.S. in Mathematics at the University of Illinois and my M.S. and Ph.D. in Mathematics at Purdue University. After a few years in the aerospace industry doing math modeling for the military, I have cheerfully taught at Marywood for 28 years. I have two married sons and a new wonderful grandson. Although my publications are all in mathematics (topology), I also have a great interest in astronomy and music. I still love teaching and am usually involved in research projects with undergraduates. The door is always open for students to visit me in my office.
