This Marywood University club is dedicated to promoting advocacy for and awareness of environmental issues. Goals include educating other students and faculty about environmental awareness on campus, promoting environmentally friendly use of natural resources, and to be an organization through which students can sustainably enjoy nature by taking nature hikes and working closely with Marywood Arboretum Committee. This organization provides music therapy majors with opportunities for personal growth and professional leadership. The Music Therapy Club sponsors on-campus workshops, conducts fundraisers to facilitate regional and national conference attendance. The organization holds events to advocate for music therapy to increase awareness on campus, in addition to looking for opportunities to volunteer our time and talents.

The purpose of the Student Alumni Association is to make connections between the students of the past, present, and future at Marywood University. The SAA also assists the Marywood Alumni Association in generating support for programs of the University during the school year. SAA will also serve to enhance the education of the students and prepare them to be future alumni leaders.

This club brings together students interested and passionate about sketching. Through drawing, the students immerse themselves with the rich history and culture of Scranton, and they dedicated themselves to uncovering and rediscovering the beauty and detail of the context. The goal is to provide an awareness of key historic buildings and details within our context. Through a series of field trips, outings and tours, students will use their unique sketching skills to document, record and uncover specific historic details and buildings. By creating a direct involvement and collaboration with historic societies within the Scranton area, the club will work together to curate an exhibition at the end of the year filled with each members unique uncovering and graphic description of their findings.

This organization is open to all students interested in promoting the opportunities and goals of mathematics. The club sponsors a mathematics contest for area high school students, field trips, and attendance at professional meetings.

The purpose of this club/organization is to provide an opportunity for students of Marywood University to engage in a healthier campus community through the participation in events and activities that promote nutrition, wellness and stress management. Fruved (for short) stands for FRUits and VEgetables and is a nation-wide movement that originated as a USDA grant-funded intervention/control study at eight universities across the country.

The purposes of the Athletic Training Club include: encouraging, advancing, and improving the student athletic trainers within the program; developing the abilities of its members; providing an exchange of thoughts and ideas to better its members' understanding of the field of athletic training; enabling members to share camaraderie among themselves; and, introducing others to the field of athletic training. Membership is open to anyone interested in joining the club.

The purpose of the Marywood Aviators is to provide pilots and other aviation enthusiasts with more knowledge of the industry.

The Marywood Players is the only official student-run theatre club on campus. Students have opportunities to be involved both onstage and backstage in faculty-directed mainstage productions, as well as student-directed workshops and showcases in the Black Box Theatre. We work closely with the Theatre Program but students of all majors are welcome to join our ensemble. If you are an actor, technician, or theatre enthusiast this is the club for you!

The Exercise Science Club is here to:

1.    Further professional interest in the physical education and exercise science majors at Marywood University and throughout the state of Pennsylvania.

2.    Strive for the highest goals in leadership and scholarship, and to bring students in this field into closer relationships with their chosen profession. This includes attendance at relevant conferences.

3.    Create a university-wide appreciation of the values and contribution of the physical education & exercise science majors.

The purpose of this club/organization is to represent Black Students and Allies in political and social matters, serve as a primary advocacy organization for Black Students, act as liaisons between Black Students, University Administration, and Local Community, foster an enrichment for Black Students and Allies attending a PWI (Predominantly White Institution), act as a central location for Black Students and Allies to address internal issues and concerns, and actively engage in functions both on and off-campus that provide enlightenment to the plight of Black students.

Marywood University Student Educators provides an opportunity for the students of Marywood University to be involved in the education department through educational activities within the local and surrounding communities. Students who take part of this club will have multitude of opportunities for professional growth. We will provide opportunities for students to take part of professional organizations, as well as providing opportunities for networking between students, faculty, and community members. MUSE is comprised of the Pennsylvania State Educators Association (PSEA), the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), Kappa Delta Pi, and Sigma Pi Epsilon Delta.

The American Institute of Architecture Students consists of, but is not limited to, architecture and interior architecture/design students. Members gain access to the latest design developments, network with peers and professionals, and receive information that is helpful in the process of becoming a licensed architect.

The Biology & Chemistry Club serves as a forum for social activities, networking possibilities, studying/research opportunities, and exciting excursions for all science majors. The Biology & Chemistry Club aims to stimulate interest in both the pure and applied sciences at college and community levels and acts on behalf of science students in campus-wide student government/club activities. Students of all majors are invited to join!

Accounting and Finance Club aims to further develop a deeper understanding of the Accounting and Finance profession in the real world. This is achieved through guest speakers within the profession and other types of networking opportunities.

The goals of this organization are to provide a forum through which social work majors can broaden and enrich their knowledge base, as it relates to social work education and practice; to function in a liaison capacity with the School of Social Work; to provide active voluntary service in various community organizations; and to provide student input into the policies, curriculum, and other educational endeavors of the Bachelor of Social Work Program.

MUSATA is composed of graduate and undergraduate art therapy students with the support of the Marywood art therapy faculty. The main purpose of this group is to network, share personal, artistic, educational, and overall professional growth opportunities. This group strives to promote art therapy as a means of life improvement. MUSATA seeks out volunteer opportunities so that its members can gain experience with a variety of populations while lending a helping hand in accordance with Marywood's curricular goal of service learning. 

This student-run club is an active part of the Communication Sciences and Disorders Department, and is in affiliation with the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSHLA), a professional membership association for students (undergraduate, graduate, doctoral - full and part-time) enrolled in a communication sciences program or related major.

Marywood Activities Council is a group of undergraduate students who host all of the small and large events on Marywood's campus. They sponsor events such as MU Coffeehouses, BINGO, bonfires, Murder Mystery dinners, bus trips, Homecoming Formal, Marywood Madness school spirit rally, Spring Fling, Flapjack Fest, and much more!

The Pre-Dental Society helps Pre-Dental students gain acceptance into Dental School, through community service to the local Scranton community, opportunities for career shadowing current Dentists, through presentations from Dental School Representatives, and current Dental Students, as well as through ASDA (American Student Dental Association), ADEA (American Dental Education Association) and ADA (American Dental Association) Conferences.  

The Pre-Physician Assistant Society of Marywood University is run by undergraduate students who correspond with Dr. Bonavoglia, the Marywood Physician Assistant Clinical Coordinator. The society advises Pre-PA students in their academic endeavors, aids them in seeking out locations where they can gather volunteer and healthcare experience, guides them through the application process for entrance into the master's portion of the program, and educates them on the roles that physician assistants play in the medical field. The society allows Pre-PA students to develop relationships with their fellow classmates at monthly meetings, group service activities, and campus events.

The student-run Nursing Club sponsors activities in the community, fosters collaboration with healthcare professionals, and promotes the development of leadership skills. The purpouse of the club is to:

• Develop nursing students who are prepared to lead the profession into the future

Marywood University Health Professions Society does its part to build a spirit of cooperation, a spirit that is becoming ever more necessary in the medical profession, by encouraging the medical professionals of tomorrow to work together today.  The MUHPS supports and encourages the students of Marywood University in their endeavors to enter the health care field as physicians, dentists, podiatrists, optometrists, chiropractors, biotechnologists and researchers.  MUHPS provides network support for students by raising awareness of the current events in healthcare; organizes visits by guest speakers from medical schools, and graduate schools; offers MCAT strategy sessions, mentorship, volunteering programs,  career options, and other special events.

The Marywood University Criminal Justice Club is a student-run organization open to all current Marywood students, including non-criminal justice majors. The mission of the group is to promote students’ interest in the field of criminal justice and to support students’ academic, professional, and personal development. Our goal is to expand knowledge and awareness of criminal justice issues through engaging and fun activities including field trips, guest speakers, hands-on scenarios, and monthly meetings.

The Marywood University Music Education Club is a club that is open to anyone who is interested in supporting the field of music education in today's society. Inside this club is the Marywood Chapter of NAFME (The National Association For Music Education) which is an organization open to only Music Education Majors within this club. Members of the club support the growth of Music Education on and off campus through a variety of events.

This organization is open to all students interested in furthering their understanding of human behavior. Activities include field trips, attendance at professional conferences, social activities, community service projects, a Christmas party, spring picnic, and the annual Psychology Fair.

The purpose of this organization is to promote and satisfy, among students, an interest in history and the social sciences.

The Honors Program Club creates a community among students interested in an honors enriched education. Students from all majors who are dedicated to academic excellence are welcomed to come together and socialize with one another through engaging activities and volunteer services.

The Outdoor Club will provide an opportunity to enjoy various trips in the outdoors as well as a chance to get off campus, meet like-minded people, and make memories. This includes, but is not limited to; hiking, backpacking, camping, and fishing. The members of the club will learn basic camping skills, cooking on the trail, fire building, and other related techniques. Students with all levels of experience are welcome to join us.

The Marketing Club looks to further develop and create deeper understanding of the marketing profession in the real world. The Marketing Club looks to achieve this through volunteer work within the Marywood and local community as well as guest speakers, fundraising, and network opportunities throughout the semester.

The Association of Neuropsychology Students in Training (ANST) is an interest group open to all levels of students. The purpose of ANST is to provide information, and access to resources for trainees interested in clinical neuropsychology. Neuropsychology is a specialty area within psychology that involves understanding and assessing brain-behavior relationships. ANST is devoted to conducting clinical research, providing our students with hands-on experience, and keeping informed of current literature. ANST is a great opportunity for professional networking.
ANST is a student subgroup of Division 40 (Society for Clinical Neuropsychology) of the American Psychological Association (APA). You do not have to be a member of APA to join, but it is highly recommended!

The purpose of this club/organization is to provide an environment for the development and exchange of knowledge among students, educators, administration and design professionals.

As an American Institute of Architects (AIA) initiative, Women in Architecture (WIA) is a Chapter that develops and promotes female leaders within the architecture profession, with a focus on mentorship, licensure, and networking opportunities in architecture and the allied design and building industries. Our Marywood University Chapter of Women in Architecture holds the following objectives: (1) Create an awareness and establish a supportive community on campus, (2) provide opportunities for mentorship to advance students’ personal and professional development, and (3) cultivate a platform for leadership and community outreach to promote a systemic change towards gender equity.

Industrial Organizational Psychology combines the fields of business and psychology. I/O Psych Club is for students interested in learning more about the field. If you want to learn about a degree in I/O psych, and educate yourself on the program offered at Marywood, join our club. As a member you will be able to attend conferences and community service events related to I/O psych. This club will provide opportunities for networking with peers and professionals in related fields, which will benefit you as you prepare for the future.

The Literature and Languages club is a community of students interested in the recreational advantages of literature, writing and foreign languages. The club provides an outlet for creative writing, book discussion and opportunities to promote the art of language in the community. Founded with the intention to expand on cultural understanding of literature, the club strides to make those interested in English, literature, and foreign languages accessible to every and all majors.

The mission of the Undergraduate Student Government Association of Marywood University represents the united voice of the undergraduate student body and provides programs and activities, which support the University's goal of enabling students to live responsibly in an interdependent world. As elected student representatives, the Undergraduate Student Government Association strives to strengthen existing bonds between students, faculty, staff, and administration and to enrich the University's tradition of excellence in academic and student life.

Sigma Phi Omega (SPO), the national academic honor and professional society in gerontology, was established in 1980 to recognize excellence of those who study gerontology and aging and the outstanding service of professionals who work with or on behalf of older persons. The formation of a society provides a much needed link between educators, practitioners, and administrators in various settings where older persons are served.

SALUTE is the first national honor society established for student veterans and military in 2-year and 4-year institutions of higher education.

Pennsylvania Student Educators Association (PSEA) is a pre-professional association dedicated to advancing leadership skills and professional development among future educators across the Commonwealth.

Founded in 1947, this professional association is dedicated to helping bring quality art education to people of all ages and to strengthen art's place within elementary and secondary schools' curriculum.

The team performs at half time at home basketball games, regional community events, and also campus sponsored programs. They also perform in a show each semester with several types of dance. Tryouts occur each fall and are open to all students. Team members must be in good academic standing. They are currently coached by Rachel Baldini.

This squad cheers at all home basketball games and several select away games for both the men's and women's sports. Cheers include on-court activities as well as half-time dance routines. Tryouts occur each fall and are open to all students. Team members must be in good academic standing.

The Step Team performs at various school events such as Midnight Madness, Global Unity events, and select basketball games. The goal of this club is to share the experience of unique hip/hop dance and step with the Marywood University community.

The Gymnastics Club is a club for anyone with an interest in gymnastics! It is non-competitive and just for fun, and no experience is necessary to join.  We plan to meet once a week to work out and do gymnastics, alternating between the Marywood gym and a nearby gymnastics facility.  Other activities of the club include watching gymnastics competitions on TV and taking bus trips to watch live professional gymnastics meets.

The Jazz Education Network (JEN) is Marywood University’s first Jazz-based club. The club is for anyone with an interest in playing, listening, and learning more about jazz. There will be many great opportunities with this club such as attending the JEN National Conference each January, to learn and train with some of the best artists from the area and nationally. Explore deeper concepts of jazz and develop connections and relationships that will last a lifetime!

International Art Honor Society, Zeta Omicron Chapter The Zeta Omicron chapter of Kappa Pi International Art Honor Society is a service organization for art majors, sophomores & up who have at least a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.5 in their major. Zeta Omicron helps our members get involved in the local art community. The group also sponsors several art-related community service projects each year, and offers scholarships as well as publication opportunities. Join the Zeta Omicron chapter of Kappa Pi to engage in art-related activities with other art majors who care about art in its role in life.

The Marywood University Chamber Singers, an ensemble of about 20-25 singers, is featured on an annual PBS broadcast and has performed on music series throughout the northeastern United States. Recent concert venues have included St. Francis of Assisi Cathedral in New Jersey, First Church and Faneuil Hall in Boston, Yale University’s Marquand Chapel, Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York, as well as several locales in California, Florida, and Georgia. The group was one of eight finalists across the United States for the 2012 American Prize in Choral Performance, and a featured choir at the 2018 American Choral Directors Association Pennsylvania Conference.

Welcome to Marywood’s swing dance club! This club is formed to provide students with an opportunity to learn  partnered swing dance styles including east coast swing, Lindy Hop, jitterbug, balboa, and collegiate shag. No prior dance experience is necessary and no partner is needed.  This is social dancing so we will constantly be changing partners and students will have an opportunity to learn both the lead and follow roles. One of the most important outcomes for our club is to put our connection to technology aside and instead connect face to face and hand to hand. Vintage and contemporary music will be used as swing dancing can be done to most any songs! Guest teachers from the PA Swing dance scene as far as Allentown, Philadelphia, and Pottstown will be providing the lessons! Club meetings will include brief history of swing dance across the US dating back to the 1920s for a better understanding  of the origins and culture! Join us!!!!  

Concert Choir is a large chorus that brings together music majors, non-majors, faculty, and community members. The Choir's repertoire ranges from a cappella motets to orchestral masterworks. Recent performances have included Orff’s Carmina Burana, Brahms's Requiem, Mozart's Requiem, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, all in collaboration with the Northeast Pennsylvania Philharmonic Orchestra. The Choir has also recently sung the Verdi Requiem, Rachmaninoff Vespers, and Beethoven Missa Solemnis. Concert Choir has been featured on PBS Christmas season broadcasts throughout Northeast Pennsylvania. A brief hearing is required for admittance into the ensemble.

The CMYKlub at Marywood University aims at providing students with a place to share ideas on artistic design in a modern world. The club works collectively to expand knowledge in realms of color, shape, line, composition, typography, photo manipulation, advertisement, and other various areas of design. The club also prepares students for entry-level work and aids them in portfolio layouts, social networking, gallery work, clientele and other company related agencies.

The Bayleaf, Marywood’s premiere journal of literature and art, publishes the work of undergraduate student writers and artists of Marywood University. A co-curricular activity of the English Department, the Bayleaf is published in the fall and spring semesters. 

Alpha Zeta Psi is Marywood's chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, the national Theatre Honor Society. Alpha Psi Omega was organized in the 1920's as a Theatre Honor Society for the purpose of providing acknowledgement to those demonstrating a high standard of accomplishment in Theatre. The purpose of Club Kidstuff is to provide an opportunity for Marywood students to serve children from local agencies. Students plan and facilitate an annual campus wide service event during the spring semester. This event brings children from local organizations of Lackawanna county to campus for a day of activities, games, entertainment, and fun. During the fall semester we will brainstorm for the event and delegate committees within the club. During the spring semester, we begin organizing and preparing for our event. Club members have the opportunity to gain leadership, organizational, and professional skills planning an amazing service event that benefits both our local community and the Marywood community.

The Food Recovery Network is a student based movement aimed to fight hunger nationwide. This club was established at Marywood University in the spring semester of 2017 and is a great opportunity for students to get involved on campus as well as in their surrounding community, all while making a difference in the lives of others. FRN's motto, "Fighting Waste, Feeding People", serves as a foundation for the goals and accomplishments Food Recovery Network volunteers conquer daily. Marywood's FRN also collaborates with numerous clubs on campus by providing an outlet for their members to complete community service hours.

The purpose of this organization is to provide an opportunity for students of Marywood University to experience faculty and staff’s faith story or journey in an open discussion about faith.

Delight is more than just a bible study! Each community meets weekly to share stories of God at work. They also incorporate worship nights, opportunities to serve and fun get-togethers that help foster relationships. We fully believe in doing life together. Delight provides the opportunity for hundreds of women to Delight in the Lord together throughout their college journey. The heart of Delight Ministries is to provide an environment for women to vulnerably share about how Christ has been at work in their lives. Our curriculum is made of stories from college women sharing about the ups and downs of their faith journeys. We've heard stories of depression, loneliness, heartbreak, identity crisis and pain, but the common theme throughout them all is that even still, God is good. These stories are paired with scripture and discussion questions and are used weekly by all Delight communities. Stories of real women opens the door for authentic conversations and deep-rooted relationships. We truly believe in the power of vulnerability and how it impacts our relationship with Christ and others.

Love Your Melon is an apparel brand run by college students across the country on a mission to give a hat to every child battling cancer in America.

The Students Organized to Uphold Life club is a group of students who are pro-life, on the fence or simply don’t know what they believe. We aim to educate others on what life is, why it is precious and why we believe a person’s a person no matter how small. We love, educate and encourage, never criticize. You never now how much the smallest person can change the world. 

Project Outreach is a club focused on giving back and helping those with different socioeconomic backgrounds in local communities. To achieve our goals, we host fundraisers, food drives, clothing drives, and spend time volunteering at local centers that need us (i.e. Keystone mission, St. Joseph's, etc). Furthermore, following the collection process, we put together packages and make trips to the Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, and potentially Philadelphia and New York areas to distribute them to the homeless. We welcome anyone interested in donating their time to give back to the community. As individuals we can only give back so much, however as a Marywood community we can achieve much more.

A group of young ladies who created a sorority based on service for the future of not only us, but our future generations. We come together, not as peers but as sisters, to performs such tasks. Sisterhood is where individuals from different backgrounds come together and become sisters for life. It's a life changing experience that will not only benefit those we are helping, but also ourselves, in hopes that these young ladies will turn into strong and independent women. Alpha Sigma Psi will be the next milestone in our life, opening new doors and creating opportunities.

Zeta Phi Delta, a local sorority, was founded and recognized as a student organization in the 2001 Spring Semester. This sorority was founded based on the belief that there are great advantages for younger women to uphold a sisterhood of women who appreciate friendship, promote loyalty and service, build character, and enhance the members' total education.

Phi Mu Delta is a national fraternity founded at Marywood in Fall 2017. The mission of the fraternity is to provide a positive experience for today's college man, encouraging high personal standards, morally, mentally, and spiritually, and, to help its members live the ideas of the founders: democracy, brotherhood, and service.The fraternity's philanthropy is St. Jude's Children hospital and does much work in sexual assault awareness and prevention.

The Global Unity Club was created to promote social diversity, inform and promote an understanding and respect of cultures around the world, and bring people of all walks of life closer together. This club strives to create a sense of unity in our interdependent world and provide a more visible and viable ethnic community and exchange within Marywood University’s student body. This club and its members will be involved in projects that facilitate sharing and understanding among different cultures. Membership is open to all students.

Peers On Wellness (POW!) is a peer education group on the campus of Marywood University. They focus on topics including stress management, sexual assault, healthy relationships, body acceptance, and alcohol awareness. POW! is most know for their stress busters that take place throughout the semesters. They also do our reach programs by presenting at local schools and organizations along with passive programing that students can see throughout campus.

Delight provides the opportunity for hundreds of women to Delight in the Lord together throughout their college journey. The heart of Delight Ministries is to provide an environment for women to vulnerably share about how Christ has been at work in their lives. Our curriculum is made of stories from college women sharing about the ups and downs of their faith journeys. We've heard stories of depression, loneliness, heartbreak, identity crisis and pain, but the common theme throughout them all is that even still, God is good. These stories are paired with scripture and discussion questions and are used weekly by all Delight communities. Stories of real women opens the door for authentic conversations and deep-rooted relationships. We truly believe in the power of vulnerability and how it impacts our relationship with Christ and others.

The Sexuality & Gender Alliance (SAGA) is an organization for anyone interested in LGBTQ+ issues and equality. This club is a place for information and community pertaining to events and education. It will also meet weekly to support and work on projects on and off campus.

"Our plan is to elevate the Marywood campus by building homes for local birds.  We will explore the different needs; such as entry size and dimensions of every species that frequent our area.  Designs will then be created to meet their requirements, which is similar to what an architect would do for their client."

Welcome to Marywood’s swing dance club! This club is formed to provide students with an opportunity to learn  partnered swing dance styles including east coast swing, Lindy Hop, jitterbug, balboa, and collegiate shag. No prior dance experience is necessary and no partner is needed.  This is social dancing so we will constantly be changing partners and students will have an opportunity to learn both the lead and follow roles. One of the most important outcomes for our club is to put our connection to technology aside and instead connect face to face and hand to hand. Vintage and contemporary music will be used as swing dancing can be done to most any songs! Guest teachers from the PA Swing dance scene as far as Allentown, Philadelphia, and Pottstown will be providing the lessons! Club meetings will include brief history of swing dance across the US dating back to the 1920s for a better understanding  of the origins and culture! Join us!!!!  

Student Veteran Alliance is a club for all Marywood students. The club informs others of military culture while having fun and giving back to the community!

Volunteers in Action (VIA) is a club for students interested in community and on-campus service projects. Students have the opportunity to gather with others who have similar interests, to learn about and sign up for service opportunities, and to assist with planning events sponsored by the club. Everyone is welcome to attend. Meetings are scheduled every other Monday throughout the academic year.

The mission of the Chess club is to provide a way for students to play chess, teach basic rules and tactics and to compete in various chess tournaments.

Improv Beyond is the one and only improvisational group at Marywood! Open to all students, we play short and long form games. Meet ups are once a week and we have one large performance each semester! We have also performed at the Vintage Theatre and events around campus!

The Gymnastics Club is a club for anyone with an interest in gymnastics! It is non-competitive and just for fun, and no experience is necessary to join.  We plan to meet once a week to work out and do gymnastics, alternating between the Marywood gym and a nearby gymnastics facility.  Other activities of the club include watching gymnastics competitions on TV and taking bus trips to watch live professional gymnastics meets.

The Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) are a group of college-based officer training programs for training commissioned officers of the United States Armed Forces.

The NSLS is the largest leadership honor society in the United States. Our NSLS chapter at Marywood University was started in 2017. Our local chapter is part of the national organization with 700+ chapters and over 1.4 million members.  Students are selected based on exemplary academic achievement. International Art Honor Society, Zeta Omicron Chapter The Zeta Omicron chapter of Kappa Pi International Art Honor Society is a service organization for art majors, sophomores & up who have at least a 3.0 overall GPA and a 3.5 in their major. Zeta Omicron helps our members get involved in the local art community. The group also sponsors several art-related community service projects each year, and offers scholarships as well as publication opportunities. Join the Zeta Omicron chapter of Kappa Pi to engage in art-related activities with other art majors who care about art in its role in life.

Psi Chi is the National Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929. Psi Chi has two goals: To recognize academic excellence through induction and nurture the spark of accomplishment by providing growth and development through chapter activities.

National Catholic College Graduate Honor Society.  The purpose of the Kappa Gamma Pi Society is to strive for a high standard of personal Christian excellence, service, and scholarship among members; to encourage individual and group initiative and participation in local and national church and secular affairs; and to awaken a spirit of Christian leadership among the undergraduates of Kappa affiliated colleges and universities.

Each year, students of sophomore standing or higher who have displayed a dedication to campus media receive invitations to join Marywood University’s chapter of the Society for Collegiate Journalists. Individual SCJ members and campus media organizations like The Wood Word, TV-Marywood and 91.7 VMFM have won numerous awards in the SCJ national contest, which is the only college media contest judged by professionals.

Iota Lambda Chapter, Delta Mu Delta is the national honor society for undergraduate and graduate students in business administration. Delta Mu Delta promotes scholarship in business subjects and and recognizes and rewards scholastic achievements.

The mission of the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International is to support the learning, knowledge and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in health worldwide. National Social Science Honor Society for Undergraduate Students, Alpha Eta Chapter

The Zeta Epsilon chapter of Pi Kappa Lambda, the Music honor society, was formed at Marywood in 1987   

Phi Epsilon Kappa is the National Honor Society for Physical Education, Recreation, Health and Dance, Epsilon Sigma Chapter.  Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity is a national professional fraternity for persons engaged in or pursuing careers in physical education, health, recreation, dance, human performance, exercise science, sports medicine and sports management.

Membership is open to any Health & Physical Education student who has completed 12 credits in the major and holds a GPA of between 3.0 and 3.5.

National Foreign Language Honor Society. Through Phi Sigma Iota, Marywood University and its Department of Foreign Languages promote the benefits of speaking other languages and studying other cultures through coursework as well as internships both in the United States and abroad. 

National Communication Association Honor Society, Rho Tau Chapter

International Education Honor Society, Rho Pi Chapter works in conjunction with the Pennsylvania State Educators Association (PSEA) Club. Kappa Delta Pi claims over 600 chapters across North America and 45,000 total members. Invitations to join are based on academic achievement, a commitment to education as a career, and a professional attitude which assures the members steady growth in the field of education.
