“Hello, students of Marywood! My name is Alexa Dolce and I was born in Finland. My mom is from Finland and my dad is from New York. I speak Swedish with my mom and English with my dad.

I love Marywood and all the different people that go here. There is a huge variety of students and many interesting and awesome people that go here. I came to Marywood because of the great program for dietetics.

There are no other “Swedish-speaking-Finns” that go here that I know of, but I was part of the Multicultural Club and it’s been great to meet other people that come from diverse backgrounds.”
