Transparent Pedagogy

At the MPA Program, we strive to make course assignments transparent for our students through transformative experience that will enable students carry with these experiences and skills learned to the workforce after graduation. Assignments are constructed specifically in a clear and precise manner in order for students recognize how each assignment will benefit them, the specific knowledge and skills involved in the assignment and how they relate to students' lives, how the assignments are connected to the overall course objectives and the program's mission and goals, how grades are assigned, which specific tasks are required for the completion of n assignment, what are the criteria for success, knowledge gained, and which skills are required/ developed for the completion of the assignment.
