Help Students Help Themselves
Students engage in problematic behaviors because of:
- Health problems
- Personal or family problems
- Adjustment or developmental issues
- General academic difficulties
These factors are not controllable, but instructors who believe these issues may be at play should refer students to the appropriate services.
If you have a serious, non-academic concern about a student, contact our office for assistance. If you have an academic concern, please contact the Office of Retention and Advising.
