Talk of the University: What You Should Know

About

Over the course of the academic year various faculty, staff, and students will host a series of informal discussions/activities on current events or special topics entitled, "Talk of the University: What You Should Know". Each discussion/activity will focus on a specific local, national, or global current topic or event. 

Discussions/Activities will be led by faculty, staff, and/or student facilitators. As future events are scheduled, dates, times, and information relevant to the discussion topic may be found here and will also be advertised to the campus community through Marywood University email and posted flyers.

Empowered and Informed

The goal of this activity is to empower university community members to be engaged and informed citizens and to foster respect for human dignity.  As such, these discussions are open to all Marywood University community members no matter your level of familiarity with the subject.
