How to Become a Peer Consultant
Writing Tutors Wanted for the Fall 2022 Semester!
To become a Writing Center peer consultant, you must have earned a B+ or better in English 160: Rhetoric and Composition, you must have excellent writing and communication skills, and you must be able to exhibit an ability to assist your peers in all aspects of the writing process.
As of Fall 2022, students will also be required to submit a writing sample and fill out a brief questionnaire. The writing sample may be an essay from a previous class.
