The 6th annual Community Leadership Celebration was held on Thursday, May 2nd. Honorees, the Little Sisters of the Poor, were presented with the Lead On award in recognition of their compassion and commitment to the care of poor and elderly persons. This very special occasion honored the Little Sisters while supporting Marywood students who make a difference by helping those in our community who have the greatest need. Business professionals, community leaders and the Marywood University community partied with a passion as we congratulated the Little Sisters of the Poor. NYC Dueling Pianos set the tone as Living Florals roamed the floor and our student vocalists wowed the crowd. Fabulous food, exceptional entertainment, and the company of friends shaped a memorable time for all whose generosity is helping to empower Marywood students as they discover their passion and realize their purpose. We asked. You answered. Together we can make a difference in our world.
