Arts Administration

Marywood's Arts Administration track provides a foundation in both art and business. It includes courses in business and global innovation, art history, and art foundation, as well as practical experience in curating and historic preservation in museums and galleries.

Download the course sequence sheet for a breakdown of classes each semester.

The Maslow Collection

As an Arts Administration student, you will gain hands-on experience in curatorial practices and exhibition studies by working with the Maslow Collection, conveniently housed at Marywood.

The Maslow Collection features prints by the most recognized contemporary American artists of the 60s and 70s, as well as works by emerging painters and sculptors who exhibited in New York art galleries during the 80s and 90s.

By working directly with the collection's curator, you'll have the opportunity to curate an exhibition in the Maslow Study Gallery for Contemporary Art. Our Maslow Collection Library and Curatorial Research Library are excellent resources for researching the artists in the Maslow Collection and curatorial practices since the 1960s.
